  We are part of another church but went to Westside for a "pinewood derby" type of event. It was supposed to be for children, yet there was a large bracket filled with adult cars....which by chance is the one they put my kid in. Okay, nothing wrong with that I suppose, but when we were trying to fix the car one guy kept yelling in an extremely disrespectful passive aggressive manner that we were in the wrong spot. He addressed the area as a whole but was clearly speaking with us. All he had to do was politely ask us or even tell us that he needed us to shift over about 10 feet. There was no reason to support an unchristian like attitude. When we went to leave we were asked what was wrong, my wife said she thought it was an event for kids. We were told that it was, yet my 11yr old was against adults and the fellow that yelled said we had to change the wheels. He didn't want painted wheels in the event. Well, if my two year old wants pink, purple or blue wheels she should be able to have them...if it were a kid event. Yes it would slow the car down but who cares.
